THE COURSE TAKER LEARNS HOW TO SET UP AND LAUNCH THEIR NEW PRODUCT OR SERVICE SUCCESSFULLY.
In this 3.0 Credits (30 Hr) course, students will learn the Importance of Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship management for societies. The various types of Entrepreneurship and the fundamentals of Entrepreneurship activity including how/why a Startup is special and different from other forms of business.
● This is a practically oriented course, where the current themes for creating a successful startup such as - AGILE, LEAN Entrepreneurship, Innovation Accounting and Lean Business Canvas will be learned.
● Students will also be taught mission critical skills such as Effective Salesmanship, understanding your IRL “Investment readiness level” and Pitching to stakeholders, their product or service based on the 4 P’s of Product marketing and the 7P’s of service & solution with Agile Marketing processes.
● This course focuses on the personal and business attributes, systems and processes required for achieving SUCCESS, specifically for entrepreneurs who are starting a new business or looking to turn around their FOB - family owned business.
● Students will obtain a basic but practical understanding of starting, joining or investing in startups. Examples from StartupIndia, Innovation India like portals, current events, news reports and legal opinions will be interwoven into the course structure.
● Students will develop a strong foundation and understanding if entrepreneurship is really for them. Those from FOB’s will get ideas for making their family business rise to the next level.
● The program is based on reverse-classroom principles and case-based learning where required. Between the sessions you are expected to work on developing your own project (new startup idea).
● The Program focuses on giving you the basic theory and tools around entrepreneurship to kick-start your entrepreneurial journey.
