Vikas is a seasoned Training professional with incisive experience in Training, Sales and Customer care. After spending 25+ years in the corporate world (8 years in leadership roles), with companies like GE Capital, Dell Computers, Franklin Templeton Investments, Reliance Communications and Microsoft, took up his passion, training, as a career in 2010. After working for a few years as a freelance trainer, he felt that the scope of upskilling people through classroom training is very limited in scalability for globally dispersed teams at the hybrid workplace. This made Vikas form Skillpromise.com in 2017, an online platform where people could learn essential life and career skills.
Vikas has expertise in conceptualizing and delivering corporate training programs and develop comprehensive content. Vikas is currently delivering training (classroom and LMS) with companies like Nippon Paints and Automotives on leadership competencies like Finance for non-finance professionals, dealing with ambiguity for better decision making, creative problem solving, art of building credibility, how to manage time and develop sense of urgency, emotional intelligence & mindfulness, creating high performance teams, effective coaching and execution excellence through process orientation
Vikas has mentored 30000+ Management and Engineering students from more than 10 colleges on Employment Readiness skills, Business Communication skills, Personal
productivity skills, Managerial skills, Selling skills and Customer Care skills. Skillpromise platform is currently being used by colleges like MICA, IMT group of Institutions and MYRA schools of business
Vikas is BSc in Biochemistry from Delhi University and a Management graduate with dual specialization in Marketing and Finance, from Symbiosis, Pune. Vikas is a green belt is quality and is very process driven.
Vikas in his free time likes to listen to music and sing. He is a wild life enthusiast. He likes to write poetry.
